Baked Spiced Lamb
Kibbeh is a traditional Lebanese dish that has a history of more than 700 years. Authentically made with ground lamb, but can be substituted or augmented with ground beef or ground chicken, the dish contains many aromatic spices that will make your mouth water with anticipation as you cook it.
Serves 4 – 6 adults
Kit includes: fine bulgur wheat, pine nuts, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, sumac, allspice, black pepper, cinnamon, ground cloves, fenugreek, ground ginger, preparation instructions, shopping list, table setting suggestions and Tea & Trivia.
Fresh ingredients you will need: ground lamb, an onion, fresh mint, and pita bread. For accompanying sauces you will need: yogurt, garlic, a tomato, a cucumber and some lemon juice.
