Bulgogi
Marinated "Fire Meat"
Today bulgogi is one of the most popular Korean foods in the world. The word bulgogi is derived from two symbols, bul, meaning, “fire”, and gogi, meaning “meat”. The deep flavors of soy and sesame are brought to their peak when grilled over hot coals, so this is a great dish for the BBQ. Unlike most Korean food, this dish has only a small hint of chili spice and garlic.
Serves 6 – 8 adults
Kit includes: soy, roasted sesame seeds, dark sesame oil, dark sugar, black peppercorn, Korean chili powder, sancho, a Ziploc® bag, preparation instructions, shopping list, table setting suggestions and Tea & Trivia.
Fresh ingredients you will need: beef (chicken can be substituted), garlic, green onions, ginger and leafy lettuce.
“My husband made me the beef dish and it was AWESOME!! The best meat dish I have ever had and I don’t usually like meat very much, but I loved this!!”
