This Mini Kit combines a stunning pink marble mortar and pestle with Panch Phoran seasoning.

Panch Phoran is a wonderful spice mix used often in Bangladesh.  After dry heating the seeds in a pan the spices are crushed and then tossed on stir fried vegetables like cauliflower, okra, peas and potatoes or for a lighter flavor heated with oil then tossed with vegetables.  This Mini Kit includes the mortar and pestle made from pink stone with grey veins (Each one is unique.  The mortar measures 3.2" x 2" and the pestle 3.5" long.); and the Panch Phoran which is a mix of mustard, nigella, fennel, cumin and fenugreek.  (Approximately 2 TBS)  The kit also includes instructions on using the spice as well as a sample recipe.
